The Vault is a LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certified facility by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Our world-class energy efficient HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) system uses the innovative and environmentally friendly KyotoCooling solution.

We have installed one of the largest photo-voltaic arrays in Central Oregon on the roof of the Vault. This will supply 150kW of power, sufficient to support the complete energy needs of the engineering and support staff within the vault. Furthermore we are working with local energy providers to source as much of electricity as possible from renewable sources.
