BendBroadband Vault A Green Data Center


The Vault offers its colocation customers the opportunity to utilize our highly-skilled Data Center staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair their equipment through our Remote Hands service. This service includes, under customer instruction:
  • Pushing a button.
  • Switching a toggle or setting a dipswitch if accessible externally.
  • Power cycling (turning on and off) equipment.
  • Securing cabling to connections.
  • Observing, describing or reporting on indicators or display information on machines or consoles – provide any reasonable visual feedback to Customer.
  • Basic observation and reporting on the environment in our facilities.
  • Running single, built in diagnostics equipment.
  • Typing commands on a keyboard.
  • Cable organization or ties.
  • Modifying basic cable layout, such as Ethernet connections
  • Labeling and/or re-labeling equipment
  • Limited swapping of existing equipment for new or refurbished equipment
  • Card swaps where cards are visible and accessible
  • Changing of pre-labeled removable media (tapes/CDs).
