The Vault offers its colocation customers the opportunity to utilize our highly-skilled Data Center staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair their equipment through our Remote Hands service. This service includes, under customer instruction:

Pushing a
button.

Switching a
toggle or setting a dipswitch if accessible externally.

Power cycling
(turning on and off) equipment.

Securing
cabling to connections.

Observing, describing or reporting on
indicators or display information on machines or consoles –
provide any reasonable visual feedback to Customer.

Basic
observation and reporting on the environment in our facilities.

Running single,
built in diagnostics equipment.

Typing commands
on a keyboard.

Cable
organization or ties.
-
Modifying basic
cable layout, such as Ethernet connections

Labeling and/or
re-labeling equipment
-
Limited
swapping of existing equipment for new or refurbished equipment

Card swaps
where cards are visible and accessible
-
Changing of
pre-labeled removable media (tapes/CDs).
